The Meteorological Department has predicted a 2-day wet spell starting from Tuesday. As per the official sources, a spell of intermittent light to moderate rain in plains and snowfall in higher reaches of J&K and Zojila, Drass and some areas of Zanskar region of Ladakh are most likely to occur during Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday.

MeT officials said frequent wet spells in Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh during March and April so far have helped overcome a rain deficit witnessed in both the Union Territories during February.

Mainly dry weather is expected on 11-12th whereas another spell of light to moderate rain with thunderstorm is likely during 13-14th at many places of J&K and at a few places of Ladakh region especially in Kargil districts.
There's no forecast of any Heavy precipitation for nxt 1 week to 10 days.
