A family residing in Srinagar totalling five members has shockingly found to test positive for the novel coronavirus without having any travel or contact history forcing the authorities to put them in immediate quarantine.
The family members, father, son, two daughters and their mother were tested positive Wednesday. They are from Eidgah area of Srinagar’s old town. The entire family is shell-shocked as to how they caught the virus without travelling out of Srinagar and without coming into contact of any positive case of Covid.
Murtaza (name changed) said he and his father have been fighting hard to feed the family. “We are into the art of Khatamband ( a wood art) used to craft unique designs on a special kind of wood used for ceiling in residential houses, hotels, government offices and also in houseboats in Kashmir.
