Kashmir ~ The Bone Chilling Pain Beyond
As the whole world is struggling to get out of the Corona threat and the lockdown that followed, Kashmir too is making efforts to get out of this menace. The factor that sets Kashmir apart from the rest of world is that valley is accustomed to prolonged lockdowns, the recent example being the post 370 removal imposed lockdown that spanned for almost 5 months.
The Kashmir and Kashmiris have always braved the consequences of lockdown that I am sure no other part or region of world could execute. Be it the floods of 2014 or 2008 agitation, Kashmiris have always set an example of unity and brotherhood from North to South.
A similar situation has arisen right now where everyone of us who has been bestowed by Almighty Allah to help those in need and prove the word Kashmiriyat in its true sense.
There are thousands out there in Kashmir who earn a mere 50- 70 Rs a day and their one day wage is their food for their families. A One Day Lockdown Virtually Kills Them Along With Their Families. It's beyond imagination how would a 5-Month-old lockdown (plus the current #COVID Lockdown) would do to them.
