Authorities in Naidkhai area of Bandipora district in North Kashmir were alerted and prompted to conduct a door-to-door check-ups after a local milkman tested positive for COVID 19 virus.
Two positive cases had surfaced yesterday in Bandipora and one among them was a milkman.

As per the credible sources, authorities are busy tracing all the possible contacts of that milkman. Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Shahbaz Mirza said that contacts will be spotted, tested and accordingly quarantined.
Bandipora has witnessed 53 COVID-19 positive cases among which Gund Jahangeer hamlet alone has 26 patients.
